Naturalness in the City: Demographic Groups’ Differences in Preference for Deciduous Landscape

In the past few years, deciduous landscape conservation has become a trend in China; however, theoretical support is still limited, and impact of demographic characteristics on people’s attitude toward needs to be explained. This study aimed at exploring differences among groups through Likert scale questionnaires 981 respondents. The results show that all characteristics, only age significant influence preference. However, there paradox for elderly people: they have highest preference lowest intention keep their lives same time. Moreover, tend care about underlying surface while reliable predictor other color fallen leaves. These findings can useful practical applications, which might guide future development planning maintenance.
